Personal Training

Philosophy

Our goal is to provide you with enough knowledge, advice and resources that will allow you to become comfortable and confident in any fitness environment. Our personal trainers will work with you to develop an exercise program based on your fitness goals and will closely supervise your progress. Our trainers will educate you on proper workout techniques, both strength and cardiovascular, while motivating you.

Training Packages

Training sessions are an hour in length for each session. Each initial session is a mandatory fitness assessment. *Final sessions include post assessments.  Register here!

Fit Fifteen - January 14 – May 3

Join us on the fitness floor every Monday and Wednesday for a 15 minute workout demonstration.

X-plosive Training - February 4 – February 8

Get a free demonstration of our X-plosive Training, which consists of plyometric, endurance, agility and strength training for athletes who are seeking to improve their overall fitness. Free to the first 20 individuals who register; register at the Upper Fitness Desk.

Personal Training Guidelines

A personal trainer will contact you within 3-days to schedule an appointment

Payments will be accepted at the service center prior to the start of the first appointment.

There are no penalties if session cancellations are made within at least 24 hours. You may contact ​your trainer directly or fitness.wellness@utb.edu to cancel your appointment.

• Failure to show up to a scheduled appointment or tardiness of 15 minutes or more will result in forfeiture of the one hour session.

• Sessions that start late will end on time.

• All sessions expire within three months from date of purchase.

• All packages are non-refundable.

• Personal training will only be conducted by current Campus Recreation training staff.
