Living and learning communities

Located throughout the University Housing residence halls, Living-Learning Communities provide the opportunity to become part of a unique experience, with programs and facilities to support the interests of the community members.

(e3) earth, energy and the environment

The (E3) community is for students who are passionate about the environment and sustainable living. Residents within the (E3) community will be able to take part in a variety of programs and initiatives concerning awareness about sustainability and fostering a cleaner campus environment. Social events such as barbeques and field trips will help foster community and friendship building among faculty and students.

The Journey - create your life's expedition

This community is for students who are interesting in seeking out and exploring who they are. Residents will discover the meaning and importance of majors and the careers they can lead to. With the encouragement from career advisors as well as other students, residents will learn more about who they are and how their unique strengths, talents, and attributes impact their choice of major and career options.

L.I.F.E. - lessons intended for everyone

The L.I.F.E. community is designed to teach students some basic skills that will help them survive on their own as they navigate the world of college. This community will focus on guiding students toward competencies in basic housekeeping, conflict resolution, financial planning while developing their critical thinking and reasoning skills.

Homeostasis - a point of balance

The Homeostasis community is for students who committed to living a well-balanced and engaged lifestyle. Residents of this community discuss and participate in activities examining how to pursue a balanced life in mind, body, and soul.
