For severe or potentially life-threatening physical or mental health emergencies call 911 and Campus Police at (956) 882-2222 or go to a local hospital emergency room.

For after hours non-emergent medical care consult a Brownsville telephone directory for a list of local private medical providers or contact your health insurance company for more information.

If the student is able to get to Student Health Services, he/she will be evaluated and/or referred to an outside medical facility.
