   Come out to Welcome Week events and hang out with all the friends you made during your first year!
   
   
2. Meet with academic advisors
   Be actively engaged with your academic advisor and plan for your future! Gain valuable information from different offices & colleges that will help you succeed your second year at UTB/TSC.
   
   
3. Attend sophoMORE workshops
   Learn about the issues that sophomores typically face and how to deal with them constructively & positively.
   
   
4. Utilize Career Services
   Internships and jobs will make you more marketable after graduation. Let Career Services help you find one.
   
   
5. Plan to study abroad
   Develop a global perspective that will enable you to think critically and in new ways.
   
   
6. Get Involved!
   Join a club or organization on campus!
   
   
7. Engage in research projects with faculty
   Get more out of your classes by working on projects with faculty to help you see the bigger picture.
