Dr. De los Reyes is the Director for Title V. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the program. Dr. De los Reyes holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from The Community College Leadership Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. De los Reyes has eleven years of experience in the manufacturing sector and seven years of experience in research working as a Senior Research Analyst at the Cross Border Institute for Regional Development at UT Brownsville and has a Social Science Research Associate at the Center for Community College Student Engagement (CCSSE) at UT Austin. Her research interests are in the areas of student retention, engagement, and assessment. As a Hispanic female and first generation student, Dr. De los Reyes has a passion for helping STEM field students succeed.

Bin Zhang is an instructional designer/developer for Title V courses and assessment projects. He holds two Master degrees, one in Liberal Arts and another in Curriculum & Instruction with a cognate focus on Instructional Technology. All He needs to complete his Ed. D in C&I from Baylor Univerity is his Dissertation. He has 7 years experience in designing and developing instructional technology applications and courseware. Here in Title V. He is in charge of integrating educational technology with linked courses and learning communities. His international background enables him to better understand the culture of this university.

Johanna Torres is the Career Counselor for Title V. She provides career counseling, personal counseling, and crisis counseling. She received a B.A. in Psychology from St. Edward’s University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas at Tyler. Johanna really enjoys empowering students and helping them succeed both personally and professionally.
