First-Time Freshman
A first-time freshman student is one who is new to college, or is transferring from another institution with less than sophomore standing (typically less than 30 semester credit hours) and can be enrolled full or part time. All first-time freshmen must complete an orientation program, known as Scorpiontation, before meeting with an academic advisor and registering for courses.
