Annual South Texas Victimology Symposium
Each year, the Criminal Justice Department hosts a Victimology Symposium. The event is attended by law enforcement, probation, and parole professionals who earn continuing education credits for their attendance. The working theme of the 2009 Victimology Symposium is "Preventative Services." The symposium is planned for either May or June of 2009.

Dr. Susan Ritter's Involvement with the Harlingen Crime, Grafitti and Gang Violence Task Force
Dr. Ritter is currently involved with the Harlingen Crime, Grafitti and Gang Violence Task Force.
