Biography:
Dr. Noor Islam is associate professor of English. He received his first M.A. from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. His second M.A. and Ph.D. are from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He is a nationally honored teacher and scholar whose stories and essays have appeared in numerous publications in North America and Europe, including World Literature Today, Short Story, The Toronto Review, and Journal of Pragmatics. His research interests lie in post-eighteenth-century British literature, linguistics, and ESL.
