Architecture Program
The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College is proud to announce the first Architecture Program in the Rio Grande Valley. This unique two-year program for South Texas provides students an opportunity to study architecture and engage in improving the quality of the built environment in their community.
We are committed to providing quality architectural education through the establishment of a strong and effective program that strives to expand the understanding of architectural concepts, to implement architectural knowledge and skills and to develop a strong basis for future coursework in the architecture profession. The Architecture Program supports UTB/TSC's mission by providing workforce training and continuing education.
Our goal is to offer an Associate of Science in Architecture that will prepare students to continue their education toward a Bachelor of Science and/or Master in Architecture. We are also striving to prepare students so they will be ready to provide quality service to their local communities upon graduation, if they wish to work immediately.
