Biography:
Ms. Ana del Rosario Peña-Oliva, an Assistant Technical Master Instructor for the Department of Modern Languages is a native from Guatemala City, Guatemala, who joined UTB-TSC as full time faculty in 2005, after working, at the same institution since 1999 as a part-time instructor.
As a faculty member for the Modern Languages Department at UTB/TSC, she teaches lower level courses such as Elementary Spanish, Basic Spanish for Bilingual Students and Hispanic Language and Culture. She is also involved in in the creation of Online Courses such as Basic Spanish for Bilingual Students, SPAN 2313 and 2315, Hispanic Language and Culture, SPAN 2321 and 2322 and Acquisition of the Spanish Language, SPAN 4316.
She’s currently serving as the Department of Modern Languages Lower Level Courses Coordinator, Dual Enrollment Coordinator, Dual Language Certification Program Coordinator and Multimedia Lab Director.
