The Translation and Interpreting Office (T&iO), within the Department of Modern Languages, is dedicated to co-ordinating and promoting Translation and Interpreting related activities, courses and programs inside UTB/TSC.
At a community level, the Translation and Interpreting Office is committed to gathering information about community people who want to expand their work capabilities in translation and interpretation, and to becoming a translation clearing house and contact base for area business representatives, educational institutions, and government agencies who are looking for professional translation and interpreting services or who need assistance in communicating with foreigners not fluent in English.
T&iO also services internally to all UTB departments, faculty and staff in any translation between English and Spanish at reasonable rates.
