MASTER-CLASSES
Open to festival registrants only, master-classes provide soloists and ensembles coaching from experienced performers. The most advanced students from each ensemble are encouraged to apply for a class.
Applying
School limit
- Maximum of two soloists and/or ensembles per school
Fees
- $50 base registration fee per performer
- $50 additional fee for each 30-minute instructional slot
(either an entire ensemble or a single soloist)
Qualifications
- Soloists
- Must have at least two years of classical training
- Must provide a letter of recommendation from current classical guitar instructor
- Must provide master teacher with published copies of music to perform (no photocopies)
- Ensembles
- Must have at least two years of experience
- Must provide master teacher with published copies of music to perform (no photocopies)
Assignments
- First come, first served
- May be assigned to another master-class based on availability
- Posted first day of the festival at registration desk
