Judy Powell to speak at faculty seminar

On November 20, we are having a faculty seminar and our featured speaker is Ms. Judy Powell.  She is Chair of the State Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors.  She will be speaking on Ethics in the Counseling Profession.  That will be on Thursday night all students and the community are invited.  Since Ms. Powell also is involved with the Board’s subcommittee on grievance/discipline. Members of the Board will join her for the subcommittee’s session dedicated to grievance investigations and appeals. This is an open meeting.  Persons interested in the work of the Board and specifically how licenses are regulated should attend this meeting.
