Catheline Froehlich (UT-Brownsville, MS Biology)
Bio: Catheline's thesis research will focus on the culvert reefs created in 2011 offshore near Port Mansfield. This project will aid in identifying useful artificial reefs for the Texas Artificial Reef Program run by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Catheline received her BS in pre-veterinary from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has recently moved here to fulfill an MS with Thesis at the University of Texas at Brownsville. Her thesis research will focus on the culvert reefs created in 2011 offshore near Port Mansfield, Texas. This project will aid in identifying useful artificial reefs for the Texas Artificial Reef Program run by Texas Parks and Wildlife. She is working under advisement from Dr. Richard Kline, an ichthyologist here at UTB.
