Research Interests

Furthering research that: (i) improves the condition of the environment; and (ii) enhances the quality of life among marginalized groups. My work approaches these problems from a spatial perspective, utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) to address environmental, health, and social research questions in a holistic manner.

Research Projects

-Border Wall Spatial and Demographic Analysis

-Mexican-American Neighborhoods and Health

-Novel A H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) Outbreak Spatio-Temporal Analysis

Teaching

-Principles of Earth Science

-Principles of Earth Science Laboratory

-Conservation of Natural Resources

-Research Problems in Environmental Science
