Activities are available for organizations/ programs/ teachers (K-16) who wish to use the activities in conjunction with their respective educational event/ program/curriculum. We do request organizations or teachers to provide feedback of the material used and the receptivity of the students exposed to the activities. If you are an STEMS FEST recipient and continue to use these activities in other events/programs in your community, we also request you to provide information described through our metrics.
STEMS FEST is designed to encourage 5th and 8th grade students to participate in thematic space science hands-on activities and familiarizing them with a local university campus. Students attend lectures, view planetarium shows and explore displays staffed by NASA, the university and other participating collaborators.
STEMS FEST presenters are NASA-trained university mentors, students and professionals, NASA Education Specialists, Solar System Ambassadors and Aerospace Education Services Project (AESP) Educators.
