NSSD Event

NASA Space Science Days (NSSD) was founded at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC) with major support from NASA Johnson Space Center and the University of Houston Downtown in 2004. The event’s focus is to share the story, the science, and the adventure of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) scientific exploration of our home planet, the solar system, and the universe beyond with local school districts and communities of underrepresented populations.

NASA Space Science Days(NSSD) are science education and outreach program that encourage young people to strive for excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields by sharing the story, science and adventure of NASA’s scientific exploration of the Earth, the solar system and the universe.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
-John Quincy Adams
