New Adjunct Orientation
UTB is proud to have a strong adjunct faculty teaching corps that plays a critical role in teaching and learning at UTB. Adjuncts are what students want to be: An exemplary professional in the community and a mentor and teacher to students.
This mandatory orientation will provide you with a great teaching start. Learn about the teaching standards for faculty, writing standards for students, important dates, and the correct processes and procedures for managing your class.
Before coming to the orientation you need to get access to bcpImpact, our online orientation and teaching support. This will provide you with the information you need to start the process of gaining your electronic and other teaching support servicers.
Who Should Attend: The orientation is mandatory for all new adjuncts, adjuncts returing after a long break from teaching, and those wanting to catch up on new information.
When: The orientation is offered multiple dates. You only need to attend one. Chose the one that is most convenient to you.
