Technology Supported Learning Committees
In two years our Blackboard contract will be up so faculty now have the opportunity to review other learning management systems that will best fit our needs and budget as we go forth with UTB 2.0. We have an additional opportunity to look at all the software and hardware faculty will need to make education better and more affordable. To accomplish this, we are forming committees of faculty to investigate new, innovative technologies as well as revisit the tried and true.
Committees are formed from interested faculty who volunteer their time to serve. Most of the communication is online to keep input large and meetings infrequent. Committees are formed with the assistance of Isai Ramirez, Association CIO.
