Graduate Application Guidelines


Thank you for your interest in pursuing your graduate studies at our university. Please read the instructions on the online graduate application carefully as it will facilitate its completion.  Before you continue, please follow the instructions below in reference to your Internet browser:

  1. Microsoft Internet Explorer is required for successful completion of this application.
    1. Click "Start" on the Windows status bar
    2. Select "All Programs"
    3. Select "Internet Explorer"
  2. Allow pop-ups from this site:
    1. In Internet Explorer, click "Tools", and then "Pop-up Blocker", finally "Pop-up Blocker Settings..."
    2. Allow this site: http://www.utb.edu
  3. We highly encourage you to fill out and submit the online application through the Internet to better match your application with transcripts, test scores and other materials and manage your application through the system much faster and efficiently; however, for your convenience we have the online application English Print Version (https://blue.utb.edu/nsr2/admissionprintgrad.asp?languagemode=Eng ) for you to bring or ground mail us at "Graduate Studies Office - Champion Hall, 1st floor - Phone (956) 882-6552, Fax (956) 882-7279 - The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College - 80 Fort Brown - Brownsville, Texas 78520."

To complete the submission of the Online Graduate Application, you must perform the following three steps as requested:

1- Fill out and submit the Online Graduate Application.
2- Pay online (write down the Order/Registration-Confirmation-Number).
3- Post from step number 2 above the Order/Registration-Confirmation-Number to the submitted Online Graduate Application of step number 1 above.
