GENERAL BSN PROGRAM INFORMATION
Immunizations
Two additional immunizations (Varicella vaccine and a PPD TB test) are required of all BSN students. These are in addition to those immunizations required of all UTB/TSC students (http://www.utb.edu/vpaa/ucatalog/).
Liability Insurance
All BSN students are required to have liability insurance of $1 million with $3 million aggregate. An annual fee is included in the student statement of charges each fall semester.
Registered Nurse Licensure
All BSN Students must hold a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the United States and Territories.
BSN Faculty Advising and Tutoring
Each student is assigned a faculty advisor and meets with that advisor in Orientation to share contact information. The faculty advisor is available to work on the student’s plan of study, current program progress, and other matters of importance to their successful completion of the BSN Program. Faculty members are available for tutoring to provide assistance in their courses and to guide students to resources that will enhance their academic experience.
Student Participation in Faculty Committee
The BSN Faculty meet on a regular basis. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Interested students can contact the program secretary for the date, time and location of the next scheduled meeting.
Change of Student Name, Address, Phone Number, or email Address
All enrolled BSN students are responsible for informing the BSN Program of their current address, phone, and email address.
