Annual Fund: UTB Fund for Excellence

Dear Friend:

UTB students and faculty are making an amazing difference in the world. But sometimes making a difference requires the help of others. That’s why I’m writing you today and asking you to give to The Annual Fund: UTB Fund for Excellence. Your support gives fellow students funding to complete research projects, travel to conferences and workshops, and compete with the best minds in the world.

This April, The Annual Fund paid for nine education graduate students to present their special education research findings on autism and Asperger’s at the International Pacific Rim Conference on Disabilities. “We are all so appreciative of the financial assistance that is allowing us to have this invaluable experience,” said graduate student Lily Barbosa.

Because of people like Lily and her fellow education students, UTB continues to establish itself as a national research and learning institution, and graduates continue to further that reputation globally.

Gifts to the Annual Fund make a significant difference to the university by providing for scholarship needs that can’t be met through the usual budget. The students who presented at the International Conference are not unique. For years, alumni and friends of the university have been investing back into the lives of young people who attend our university and have helped the faculty and staff with their needs.

You can make a difference today by giving to The Annual Fund: UTB Fund for Excellence. Any gift, whether it’s $40, $100 or $2,000 will have a direct impact at UTB. Find a gift club that you are comfortable with and see how every level comes with special benefits as our thanks for your support.

Please join with me today in supporting The Annual Fund: UTB Fund for Excellence. Together we can make things happen!

Sincerely,

Juliet V. García, Ph.D.
