Making web sites accessible is about doing what's right for everyone; providing the best experience that is accessible for all faculty, staff, students and the surrounding communities. Consider this: In Fall 2009 the percentage of non-dual students with disabilities was 3.2% (378/11,807).

• Download a demo copy of the Jaws screen reader to hear how the visually impaired view a web site.
  
  
• Test pages for accessibility using the Functional Accessibility Evaluator (FAE). This is a free tool from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
