Cost Center Crosswalk/Authorized Signatures
The Budget Office maintains an Cost Center Crosswalk, which lists the PeopleSoft equivalent of the DataTel account numbers. In addition, the crosswalk also lists the following information for each cost center: cost center name, department manager, and manager alternate. Department Managers are individuals who have authority to sign documents, forms, payments, etc. on each of the University’s cost centers.
The Signature Authorization form is used to designate department managers and individuals who may sign on behalf of department managers during their absence. This form is also used to update the Cost Center Crosswalk.
To make changes to existing authorizations or designate department managers for new cost centers, complete and print a Signature Authorization form for each cost center. Route the form to obtain appropriate signatures. Submit the completed form to the Budget Office.
