Annual Parking Permits - Fall 2013
In an effort to streamline registration for students with vehicles, Campus Police will begin issuing annual parking permits beginning this fall. In the past, students were issued parking permits in person at the Campus Security Center every semester, creating long lines with students often having to wait in the hot sun.
"We believe it will make it easier for our students. They will sign up for the permits when they register for classes and we will mail the parking permits to students," said John Cardoza, Campus Police chief.
The cost of the year around parking permit will remain at $60.
Full-time faculty and staff will have the option to pay through payroll deduction. Campus Police will distribute permits to employees when the permits arrive.
Parking permits are required on all vehicles that park on the campus Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. A permit allows the parking of vehicles on campus but it does not guarantee anyone a parking space. Please refer to the campus parking lot map for further information on where to park.
The annual parking permits are effective the first day of classes, Monday, August 26, 2013 and expire August 31, 2014.
